Vanessa was joined by bestselling Edinburgh author Ian Rankin to launch our "Books That Made Me" series of events hosted by The Edinburgh Bookshop. They chatted about some of the books that have influenced his life, career and of course his writing. From his early years with The Beano and The Broons through his introduction at University to comtemporary Scottish literature such as Muriel Spark, Alasdair Gray and William McIlvanney to some of his favourite crime writers at present, Ian enthused about his love of books.
